After dinner, Jule Waibel showed 4 works, each from a different series of her career. She talked about creating works that embody her. As a new mom (it was her first Mother’s Day) she depicts herself becoming a mother. In Germany, momma bear translates to “Lioness”, so through her pregnancy she would depict herself slowly transforming into the lioness that she is now. Beyond grateful to her joining us on Mother’s Day. Then we had Greg Corn and Chris Miglioranzi talk about the growing media empire they’ve built with Respective Collective. We closed with Felix aAmes playing 2 songs. Just him, his soulful voice & Jonah Trudeau on keys.
One of the warmest, most joyful, and talented guest lists we’ve had the privilage of bringing together. thank you thank you thank you.
